No change of government before constitution: DPM Gautam

Surunga (Jhapa), Nov 8: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Bamdev Gautam, has said that the incumbent government would not change before the promulgation of the new constitution.

Talking to the media persons at Bhadrapur Airport today, he said that the disputed issues of constitution would be finalized through consensus if it was possible, otherwise, voting would unlock the deadlock.

He further said that those who obstruct the ongoing constitution drafting process are autocratic.  "The government is making utmost efforts to navigate the transition well," the DPM added.

Meanwhile, journalists in the district submitted a memorandum to the DPM, demanding professional security. RSS
