228-m tunnel dug for Sangjen Hydropower

 Dhunche (Rasuwa), Dec 22: The construction of a tunnel for the Sangjen hydropower project has been accelerated at Chilime VDC of the district.

            Project Chief Giriraj Adhikari informed the 228-m long tunnel has been constructed for the project being constructed in two phases.

            Digging of tunnel is continued from three different places.

            The hydropower project has aimed at producing 57.1MW electricity.

            Shifting and resettlement of 18 households affected with the project is underway. RSS
