Production of paddy has increased in the eastern region this year.
Despite
low rainfall, the production of paddy was able to increase as the paddy crop
did not suffer from any bug, according to the Eastern Regional Agriculture
Directorate, Biratnagar.
The
eastern region produced a total of 1.39 million metric ton of paddy this year
compared to 1.14 million last year. RSS
