Gorkhabazaar, Dec 20: Many teachers of public schools in Gorkha have begun resigning from the job, after the CIAA began investigation into alleged fake academic qualification certificates of the teachers.

            The District Education Office in Gorkha has been receiving a huge influx of teachers who are resigning since the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) regional office called for academic certificates of all the teachers in the district.

            Some 3,000 teachers are reportedly working in public schools in the district.

            So far 43 regular teachers, 10 relief quota teachers and two replacement teachers have submitted their resignation to the Office. RSS
