Bardiya,
Dec 26: A woman was killed in a road accident at Machhagad in Bardiya district
along the east-west highway this morning.
The deceased has been identified as Maya
Gyawali of Dhadhabar VDC-1.
The accident took place when a truck (Na
3 Kha 9073) heading towards Baitadi from Butwal hit a jeep (Ra 1 Ja 292) en
route towards Kohalpur from Bardiya, according to the Area Police Office,
Basgadhi.
Similarly, eleven others were injured in
the accident. Gyawali was travelling on the jeep.
The injured are undergoing treatment at
Medical College, Kohalpur.
Police have arrested the truck driver, Ananta
Khanja, 31. RSS
