Panchtar, Nov 16: The Sanghiya
Limbuwan Party has called banda (general shutdown) in nine districts of eastern
Nepal, demanding the implementation of the five-point agreement the government
signed with the party.
The banda has badly affected the
districts as Pantchthar, Ilam, Jhapa, Taplejung, Tehrathum, Morang, Sunsari,
Dhankuta, Sankhuwasabha. There are no vehicles operated for both long and short
routes.
Similarly, market places and
factories are shut down here.
Party Chairman Kumar Lingden said they
were bound to call banda in the nine districts in the east of the Arun River,
as the government did not heed the five-point agreement which had ensured
announcement of Limbuwan autonomous region to the nine districts.
However, the vehicles as ambulance,
hearse and of diplomatic mission will be allowed for mobility. RSS
