Nov 9: The Central Blood Transfusion Centre has been facing blood shortage. The
centre lacks blood due to the festive season as well as upcoming 18th SAARC
Summit, according to the Centre.
Service
recipients have been hit hard due to the blood shortage in the Centre.
Service
recipients complained that they have been compelled to return empty handed even
after visiting the centre continuously for two-three days.
Whereas,
Chairman of the Volunteers' Blood Donors' Society Prem Sagar Karmacharya said
that there was no blood shortage in the Centre as blood donors are ready to
donate blood at any time.
Dire4ctor
at the Centre, Dr Manita Rajkarnikar, said the Centre has been facing the blood
shortage as blood donors did not donate blood during the festival season. RSS
