Kathmandu, Nov 22: Chairman of the
Constituent Assembly, Subas Nembang, has said the consensus could be forged
within two hours to ensure constitution within the deadline if the political
parties wished.
At a programme organized to make the 15th
annual general meeting of the Laligurans Multipurpose Cooperatives here today,
Chairman Nembang said the disputes among the political parties have intensified
for four days. If they were brought to consensus on time, the country would get
the constitution, he hoped.
He stressed on the need to settle all
disputed contents of the constitution within the SAARC Summit.
Various lawmakers and government
officials lauded the role the cooperatives have played for the economic
prosperity of the country. RSS
