Fire burns down property worth Rs 2.8 million

Biratnagar, Nov 12: Properties worth Rs 2.8 million were destroyed in separate fire incidents in Sunsari and Saptari districts last night. Fire caught a local industry in Sunsari and a cowshed in Saptari.

According to the Eastern Regional Police Office, the fire that broke out due to a short circuit at the Om Private Industries at Sonapur-3, Sunsari has burnt down both the raw and readymade materials worth Rs 2.5 million.

           

            Similarly, a fire that broke out accidently in the cowshed of Rambhuwan Das and Bhausahi Das of Shambhunath-7, Sapatari yesterday night, has damaged properties worth Rs 300,000.

           

            The fire was doused by the locals with the help of Police and fire brigade. RSS
