Paanchthar,
Nov 15: Travelers in Yasok of Paanchthar have been forced to walk for hours
after the jeep service came to a halt taking over dispute related to the jeep
fare.
Following
the halt in the Yasok-Birtamod jeep service, passengers are compelled to walk
for five hours to reach the district headquarters Phidim before finding any
other means to travel to Birtamod.
The jeep service was closed down
by the seven political parties after the Himal Transport Association that runs
the Yasok-Birtamod service raised the jeep fare.
The
Association that had been charging Rs. 650 per passenger in the route has
increased it by Rs. 50 per person. RSS
