Minister of State Gurung urges govt staff to use free time in development

Dumre (Tanahu), Nov 12: Minister of State for Labour Tek Bahadur Gurung has urged the government employees to use their free time in development and social activities.

During his interaction with the government representatives and social workers in Chame, the district headquarters of Manang today, Minister of State Gurung said government offices in the district have a less pressure of service seekers than other districts, urging government staff here to use their free time in development activities.

All should contribute from their respective sides in the development process as the government alone could not meet the target, he added.  Minister of State Gurung was here today to monitor development works being carried out in the district. He arrived in Pisang, a village in upper Manang, today.

Talking to RSS, he said he would stay here for five days and visit 11 VDCs out of 13. Meanwhile, he inspected the repaired segment (of 65 kilometer Chame road section) which was damaged by the landslide five months ago and has resumed recently. RSS
