Motorcyclist killed in road mishap

Biratnagar, Nov 15: A person died in a road accident at Khanar in Sunsari district along Koshi Highway Friday night.

The deceased has been identified as Devi Bahadur Karki, 44.

According to the Eastern Regional Police Office, Biratnagar, the accident took place when a van (Ko 1 Cha 3654) hit a motorcycle (Ko 13 Pa 6843) at Khanar-3 in the district.

The motorcyclist Karki died on the way to Biratnagar-based Neuro Hospital.

Police have arrested the van driver and impounded the vehicle for investigation. RSS
