Kathmandu, Nov 12: Secretary of the
CPN (UML) Pradip Kumar Gyawali said the country should preserve the lively
aspects of the typical Nepali arts and culture.
Speaking at a programme organized on
the occasion of Nepal Cultural Professionals' Association in the Capital on
Wednesday, Secretary Gyawali said the malpractices that have been existing in
the name of preserving old cultures must be removed so that the cultures could
suit the republican system.
He expressed worry that the typical Nepali culture was being shadowed
by the lately developed technology and urbanization.
