VDC office reinstated after 12 yrs

Myagdi, Nov 29: The office of Shikha VDC in Myagdi district was reinstated this month after 12 years of the displacement.

The VDC office was displaced as the rebels set the office on fire during the time of conflict.

VDC secretary Khemraj Poudel said that all activities of the VDC now would be run from the village.

Earlier to this, the VDC secretary was working from the district headquarters except in time of social security allowance distribution and some special occasions. RSS
