Gaighat (Udayapur), Dec 16: Central
vice-president of the CPN- Maoist CP Gajurel has warned of declaring a
constitution from the streets if a constitution as per the desire of the people
was not produced.
Speaking in a news conference
organised by the Revolutionary Journalists' Federation at Udayapur thios
morning, he said the new constitution that the present government is issuing on
January 22 should be in favour of the people including the workers, peasants,
the indigenous nationalities, Madhesi and the marginalized communities. It
should be based on secularism, he reiterated.
In a reference to the dissociation
of leader Netra Bikram Chand or 'Biplav' from the party, leader Gajural said,
"Biplav has not split the party; it is only that some friends have left
with Biplav, and this would make no difference to us." RSS
