Kathmandu, Dec 11: Various
stakeholders have stressed that all forms of discrimination against women
including killings and violence should be put to an end.
The speakers said
this at a talk programme organized by Ministry of Women, Children and Social Welfare
and Brahmakumari Rajyog Sewa Kendra Nepal on 'Inner Peace and Spiritualism for
Women Empowerment' in the context of 16-day activism against gender-based
violence in the capital on Wednesday.
They underlined the
importance of joining hands together to end violence against women increasing
in the country of late.
Secretary at the
Ministry of Women Dhan Bahadur Tamang pledged to provide all possible support
to the campaign to end violence against women in a way to build a society sans
violence and killings.
Brahmakumari Usha
from the Kendra underlined the need to develop a culture of spiritual thinking
to make society peaceful and productive. RSS
