Parasi, Dec 23: The
farmers in Nawalparasi district have returned the subsidized chemical
fertilizer they were distributed reasoning it was not standard.
The farmers
complained that the government subsidized fertilizer they received through the
district cooperatives office was nonstandard.
The Bhairahawa
Regional Office of Agriculture Inputs Company took the samples from the sacks
of 50-kg urea and found full of dust when examined.
Manager at the
Adarsha Multiple Cooperatives Office, in the district, Sanjay Singh, said the
urea was found nonstandard, so it was returned to the place of manufacture. RSS
