Foggy condition disrupts flights to and fro Biratnagar airport

Biratnagar, Dec 11: Flights to and from Biratnagar Airport have been canceled today due to adverse weather. The town gets blanketed with thick fog and smog the entire day.

Thick fog caused low visibility in the town. Flights from Biratnagar to Kathmandu and to the eastern hilly districts including Khotang, Taplejung and Bhojpur have been affected due to low visibility, the Office of Civil Aviation Authority, Biratnagar said.


 Many passengers have been stranded in the airport because of the cancellation of the scheduled flights. RSS
