NC wants consensus based new constitution: Deuba

Bhadrapur (Jhapa), Dec 2: Nepali Congress (NC) senior leader Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that his party wanted to promulgate a new constitution on the basis of consensus within the slated time.

Leader Deuba said this while addressing a party cadres' meet held at the party office, Birtamod today and assured the party cadres of timely constitution.

"The parties are working to fulfill their responsibility to give an outlet to the country by delivering a constitution on time but UCPN (Maoist) has created unnecessary hindrances in the process," leader Deuba added.

Similarly, lawmakers Sudhir Shivakoti, Dik Bahadur Limbu, Narendra Bikarm Nembang and Mahendra Subba reiterated for timely constitution on slated time. RSS
