School building constructed

            Nepalgunj, Dec 2: A school building has been constructed for Janabhavana Secondary School at Mahu of Baijapur VDC in Banke district.

            The school had thatch roof which could be blown away with the gust of wind at any time. It was leaky during the rainy season too.

            Seeing the sorry state of the school, two Korean nationals had contributed Rs 4 million through the Save the Children Korea to add four more rooms to the school.

            With the construction of concrete school building, the number of students has increased.

            There are altogether 146 students in the school. The school is now getting assistance for furniture, books and other stationeries. RSS
