Mustang, Dec 16: Life at Jomsom of
the district has been badly affected due to the snowfall occurred on Monday
night.
The snow has piled up to three feet,
and still continuous.
The snowfall coupled with rain has
disrupted electricity and telephone service since yesterday night.
Inspector at District Police,
Mustang, Krishna Parajuli, informed that even the medium of information is
disrupted. Life is quite dormant here, he added.
"We're
also facing difficulty to exchange information", he said, adding that none
could go out of home then.
The District Agriculture Development
Office has also said the farmers were worried over the snowfall, as it was time
to cultivate for winter crops. RSS
