Kathmandu, Nov
24: Afghanistan's Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Zarar Ahamad Osmani
arrived here Monday, leading a four-member delegation in course of taking part
in the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Summit.
The delegation
will attend SAARC ministerial meeting that begins from Tuesday.
Osmani's
delegation landed at Tribhuvan International Airport at 5:00 pm today.
A high-level
team from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was at TIA to welcome the Afghan
guests.
The 18th
SAARC Summit is going to be held in the capital on coming November 26 and 27
with the theme of 'Deeper Integrity for Peace and Prosperity'.
A delegation
comprising at least 22 to maximum 75 representatives from each eight member
states is scheduled to take part in the regional event. RSS
