Kathmandu,
Nov 15: The Ambassador of Japan to Nepal Masashi Ogawa conferred certificates
of appreciation to three individuals and one organization for their dedication
to strengthen the Japan-Nepal ties.
The
certificates were awarded to Managing Director of the Trans Himalayan Tours
company Takashi Miyahara, Chairman of NGO 'Cross' Kenjiro Narato, Chairman of
Annapurna Neurological Institute and Allied Sciences Dr Basant Pant and
Japanese Universities Alumni Association Nepal, according to a press note
released by the Japanese Embassy on Friday.
The
individual and organizations were conferred the certificates for their contribution
to the promotion of friendship and mutual understanding between Japan with
other countries in promoting the economic, technical cooperation promotion of
Cultural activities, and public relations.
Speaking
on the occasion, Ambassador Ogawa expressed confidence that the recipients'
cooperation and incessant contribution would continue to play a significant
role in further strengthening the friendly and cordial relations between Japan
