Agricultural Development Hari Prasad Parajuli on Friday said the country had
embarked on a profit-oriented capitalist system with the end of feudal system.

given due priority.

that squatters, landless, marginalized and small farmers could use 60 ropanis of land in lease for which the
government had introduced a policy of providing Rs. 32,000 to 100,000 to the
farmers.

huge support to 65 per cent of Nepal's total population in agricultural
development while stressing that the Karnali region could be developed into
herbal and agro-tourist destination.
The government employees must work
to earn fame in the international level rather than getting indulged in rare
researches, the Minister said, adding that a proposal for a modern organic
fertilizer factory had already been made at the center.
He apprised the participants of the
government plan on launching a campaign of cereals (bhatmas) and corn in 42
districts.
