Kathmandu, Nov 7: The government has
appointed various individuals to the different vacant posts in the Pokhara
University today.
Prof Dr Bishnu Raj Tiwari had been
appointed as the acting Vice-chancellor of Pokhara University by Prime Minister
Sushil Koirala on Thursday.
Today Rajesh Thakurathi was
appointed to the post of Treasurer, Dr Dipak Bahadur Bhandari the dean of
management faculty, Dr Nirmala Jamarkattel the dean of institute of science and
technology and Dr Ajay Thapa as the dean of faculty of humanities and social
sciences.
The posts remained vacant after 23
office-bearers of the University including Vice-chancellor Khagendra Bhattarai
was arrested by the CIAA on the charge of corruption. RSS
