Lamki, Nov 13: The Municipal Child
Rights Protection and Preservation Committee at Lamkijuha municipality of
Kailali has started collecting data on children under 18.
The statistic gathering task has
taken momentum in a bid to publish a book on the situation of children.
The collection of statistics of
children in crisis and publication of a data-enabled book is expected to
facilitate our work to set up a basket fund with the assistance of
organizations working in the field of children, said Committee Secretary Ranga
Prasad Timilsina.
Volunteers have been mobilized from
ward no 1 to 15, Timilsina added. Earlier, the committee has distributed
stationery materials and school dress to 500 helpless children. RSS
