Kathmandu,
Nov 23: The first ladies of the heads of the states, and of governments from
the SAARC countries coming to Kathmandu for SAARC Summit, are being taken on a
tour to Bhaktapur Durbar Square on coming Thursday.
The
Foreign Ministry has informed that the distinguished first ladies will be taken
to the historical and cultural area of the Bhaktapur Durbar Square.
In
the team led by Joint Secretary at Foreign Ministry, Ambika Devi Luitel, they
will also attend a handicraft exhibition organized by Bhaktapur Chamber of
Commerce and Industry.
Similarly,
a brief cultural programme will be organized for them after the visits to
Taumadi Temple and the environs.
On
behalf of Prime Minister Sushil Koirala, the head of the government of the
SAARC hosting country, Sujata Koirala, who will act as the first lady, will
welcome the first ladies from the SAARC countries to the Bhaktapur Durbar. RSS
