Kathmandu, Nov
23: Litterateur Yagyanidhi Dahal has suggested the political parties to deliver
such constitution and federalism that could address all ethnicities and
communities of the country.
Talking to
media persons at his own residence at Mandikhatar in the capital city on
Saturday evening, litterateur Dahal said, "The State must address all and
encompass their aspirations. The late leader BP Koirala and the great poet
Devkota too used to stress this."
According to
him, the election manifesto of the Nepali Congress in 2004BS had included
religious secularism. "If the Hindu religious advocates to declare Nepal
as the Hindu state again, they must provide a cow and thirteen ropanis of land to each family."
In another
context, he said, "Prithvi Narayan Shah is a man full of valour. He
charted out present Nepal and identified us as Nepali.
Mr Dahal has
been receiving treatment of kidney disease expending Rs 100,000 every month.
"I’m
treating on my own expense, and don't worry why the State did not heed
me," the senior litterateur Dahal said, adding that not any of the
helpless can humiliate himself."
Meanwhile, a special poetry symposium
will be organized by the Mahakavi Literary Foundation next week, informed
coordinator Ratnanidhi Regmi Sukracharya. RSS
