Hostel constructed for Chepang children

            

            Chitwan, Nov 12: A hostel building has been constructed at a Chepang village of Lothar VDC in the district.

            The hostel was constructed for poor Chepang children with an objective of promoting their education.   

            The building was constructed at a total cost of Rs 250,000 collected from the Nepalese employees who are recently in foreign countries.

            The Laxmi Foundation Nepal initiated to construct the building and it has the capacity of accommodating over hundred students, said foundation chair Bishnu Gautam.

            The hostel will come into operation from the next month as necessary materials are being collected for internal management of the rooms, chair Gautam added.

            The village had met with an unpleasant event while consuming poisonous mushroom by the locals four years ago. Eight members of the same family had lost their lives in the incident.  RSS
