Kathmandu, Nov 7: Japan
International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Vice President Mr. Toshiyuki Kuroyanagi
is visiting Nepal from 9 to 12 November, 2014.
The main objective of his visit to discuss
on the overall cooperation strategies in Nepal, according to JICA.
During his visit, Kuroyanagi will pay courtesy calls on
dignitaries of Government of Nepal.
He is scheduled to observe JICA
assisted Sindhuli Road Project, and the Strengthening Community Mediation
Capacity for Peaceful and Harmonious Society Project
(COMCAP).
He will be accompanied by Katsuo Matsumoto,
Deputy Director General of South Asia Department, and Yoshibumi Bito, Director
of South Asia Department, JICA.
Kuroyanagi has been involved in JICA since 1978 April
and been in JICA as vice president since July 2012. He was involved in initial
designing process of the Sindhuli Road Project which will be accomplishing in
