Parasi, Nov 13: The existing
physical structure of a slaughter house being built by Biratnagar
sub-metropolis is on verge of dilapidation due to discontinuity of the ongoing
construction.
The construction has been paused due
to budget cruch, said Executive Officer of Biratnagar sub-metropolis, Gopal
Prasad Regmi.
The already developed infrastructure
has also started crumbling with the disruption of construction works. The local
body had started constructing slaughter house at Hatkhola in Biratnagar
sub-metropolis-11 after the government released budget in fiscal year 2065-66
BS.
The sub-metropolis has so far
invested Rs 1.8 million for the construction of slaughter house.
As many as 160 registered and
licensed fresh houses are in operation in Biratnagar sub-metropolis. RSS
