8: Minister for Information and Communications Dr Minendra Rijal has released a
novel Seta Kotbhitra Kala Man (Dark
Hearts In White Coat) penned by physically disabled Radhika Dahal.
Releasing the
novel at a programme organized by Nepal Disabled Students' Association in the
capital city today, Minister Dr Rijal said it was time to raise the issues of
disabled people in the policy level.
Similarly, Constituent Assembly members Mohan
Baral and Ganesh Pahadi expressed commitment that they would include the rights
of disabled persons in new constitution.
Similarly, senior journalist and political
analyst Purushottam Dahal said the pangs and plights of disabled writer Dahal
are mentioned vividly in the novel.
General Secretary of Nepal Disabled Students'
Association, Bhojraj Pandey complained that the Constituent Assembly had no
representation of the disabled people.
The novel is the eight oeuvre of litterateur
Dahal. The book published by Sami Sam Publications costs Rs 250. RSS
