Garuda (Rautahat), Nov 22: Leader of the
CPN (UML) and former prime minister, Madhav Kumar Nepal, has claimed that the
new constitution would be promulgated on coming January 22.
At a concluding ceremony of a seven-day
Radio Training organised by the Kohinoor
Media Pvt Ltd, Rautahat, leader Nepal reiterated that the new constitution
would be promulgated on the slated time as most of the task of the constitution
writing have been completed.
He said the CPN (UML) was ready to forge
consensus and called on the UCPN (Maoist) to adopt maximum flexibility,
recalling that all parties made commitment to issue the new constitution within
a year after getting victory in the CA election.
The
former prime minister said responsibility of development would be given to the
local people's representatives after the local elections are held in April
following the promulgation of new constitution.
