Kawasoti, Nov 8: One person was killed and 21
others were seriously injured when a passenger bus collided head-on with a
truck at Daunne of Nawalparasi on the East-West Highway this afternoon.
The bus (Na5Kha666) heading towards Pokhara from
Nepalgunj collided with the truck (Na3Kha 4376) coming from the opposite
direction, according to the District Traffic Police Office, Nawalparasi.
The identity of the woman killed in the incident
is not yet known.
Five of the injured are reported to be in a
critical condition. They have been sent to Butwal for treatment, police said.
