Panitanki, Nov 15: The Industry Commerce and Supply Monitoring
and Consumers Rights Protection Committee under the Legislature-Parliament, has
collected suggestions from the concerned authorities on commercial sector and
consumers' rights in Biratnagar on Friday.
A team led by Committee Chairperson
Bhishma Raj Angdambe garnered the suggestions with government officials, civil
society, media persons, traders and industrialists.
The suggestions were on artificial
shortage of cooking gas, black marketing and different activities seen against
consumers' rights.
On the occasion, Additional Inspector
General of Nepal Police Navraj Silwal, Chief District Officer, Ganesh Raj
Karki, FNJ central member Ganesh Lamsal, representatives of civil society,
industrialists among others reported the problems to the committee.
The committee chair Angdambe said that he was
informed about the problems related to day to day problems and he would report
the government for immediate resolution.
Lawmakers, Pawan Kumar Sarada, Subas
Thakuri and Rajya Laxmi Shrestha took part in the suggestion collecting
