Chitwan,
Nov 17: Minister for Industry Mahesh Basnet today warned that the UCPN (Maoist)
would get zero seats in the next election if it continues to obstruct the
constitution making process.
Speaking at
a programme held by Youth Association Chitwan, Minister Basnet urged UCPN
(Maoist) to not issue threats of resorting to arms and hamper the constitution
making.
He said the
constitution would be promulgated on 22 January as wished by the people.
The people
want constitution not war, the Minister said while adding, "The people
will side with those who want a constitution."
Minister
Basnet further said that his Ministry had received only Rs three billion
whereas it was in need of Rs 20 billion. He called for creating separate
Finance and Revenue Ministries.
Shedding
light on the government plan to introduce 'one district one industry' policy to
resolve the problem of unemployment and develop industrial sector, the Minister
stressed on the need to produce competent human resources for the country's
