RTI Orientation to Midwestern Journalists

Nepalgunj, Nov 30: A two-day orientation on Right to Information (RTI) Act has kicked off here gathering active journalists from the far western and the mid-western regions of the country.

The orientation organized by the SODEC Nepal with the direct support from the Australian Embassy is attended by 25 journalists.

SODEC Nepal Chairman, Dr Piyush Mishra, informed that the orientation was organized for the journalists working in the local level so that their skills on investigative journalism through the application of RTI would be whetted.

Trainer Tula Adhikari informed that the orientation would make aware the journalists on how the RTI could be utilized for good governance. RSS
