Kathmandu, Nov 30: Nepal Electricity Authority Employees' Union has
demanded the Authority that it immediately conducted feasibility study for
hydro projects as Dudhkoshi, Upper Arun and Tamaskohi-V.
Submitting a memorandum to the Executive Director, the Union said
feasibility study was essential to ensure unconditional capital while bringing
in foreign investment. It also drew the Authority's attention to mange electricity
tariff every year based on dearness index of Nepal Rastra Bank, to end the
culture of making power trade agreement without managing the transmission line,
to form an independent administrative reform commission for the managerial and
administrative reforms in the Authority. RSS
