Kathmandu, Nov 9: Social Worker
Indira Ranamagar has been honoured at Darjeeling Inn of London recently.
The UK Chapter of Nepal Indigenous
Women's Federation honoured Ranamagar, who has also bagged this year's World
Children Prize. She had received the Prize from Swedish Queen Sylvia on October
29.
Social worker Ranamagar has been
giving care and protection to orphan and destitute children from prisons for 24
years. Originally from Udayapur and working in Jhapa district now, Ranamagar
has been raising the innocent children who are kept with their parents in
prison without any offence.
