Ratnanagar (Chitwan), Nov 13: Two
children were rescued from a waiting stand in Bharatpur, Chitwan.
The rescued are the children who
have long been residing in the stand before Bharatpur airport. The male child
is being sheltered at Street Children Rehabilitation Centre Hamro Ghar and girl
child is kept at Adarsha Griha.
The rescued are nine-year-old Dhiraj
and seven-year-old Renuka – children of Keshab Dhamala of Okhaldhunga, said
Executive Director of Adarsha Griha, Meena Kharel.
It is reported that they have been
residing in the waiting stand for the past five months. The children have been
landed on the street after their mother complained serious health problem.
Chief District Officer of Chitwan
Man Bahadur BK said that the children now are secured in shelter homes. RSS
