Nepali karate team leaves for India

Kathmandu, Dec 25: The Nepali Karate Team has left here for India to participate in the Open South Asian Karate Championship to be held in New Delhi.

National Sports Council Member-Secretary Yubraj Lama bade farewell to the 45 member Nepali team including 23 players who will partake in the championship taking place on December 27 and 28.

The male category includes Diwash Shrestha, Bhim Bahadur Tamang, Digambar Prasad Pant, Mondaykaji Shrestha, Subash Karki, Dambar Bahadur Ale, Sanu Kumar Rumba, Bir Bahadur Tamang, Bijaya Lama, Sonam Lama, Sunil Lama and Mohan Karki.


In women's category Subhadra Shrestha, Sangita Dangol, Sunita Lama, Kusum Khadka, Urmila DC, Anu Adhikari, Mallika Thapa, Sunny Tamang, Bibhusa Thapa, Rita Karki and Chanchala Danuwar are taking part. RSS
