PM Koirala hosts tea reception

            Kathmandu, Dec 10: Prime Minister Sushil Koirala hosted a tea reception at Singha Durbar this evening on the occasion of the International Human Rights Day.

           

President Dr Ram Baran Yadav, Vice President Paramananda Jha, Constituent Assembly (CA) Chairman Subas Nembang, Deputy Prime Minister Bam Dev Gautam, ministers, CA members, ambassadors of different countries to Nepal and chiefs of diplomatic missions, government secretaries, chiefs of various bodies and distinguished people attended the reception.

            The government has been hosting tea reception in honour of the distinguished persons on the occasion of the International Human Rights Day every year.

            The Day is marked on December 10 every year, the day on which the United Nations issued the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948.
