Kathmandu, Dec 14: A collection of muktak
(poems written in quatrain), 'Raharle
Kinar Chhunda' penned by Nisha KC has been released amidst a programme in
the capital city.
Lyricist Ratna Shumsher Thapa and senior muktak writer Chetan Karki
jointly released the book on Saturday.
The book published by litterateur Rajendra Krishna Manandhar has
collected 216 four-lined poems delving on beauty, life, philosophy and
nationality.
At the programme, lyricist Thapa expressed worry over decreasing
number of muktak writers in the country. So, the present book of muktak will
enrich the muktak literature.
Gajal writer Gyanubakar Poudel, literati Usha Sherchan, Rajan Silswal
and Rabindra Giri among others, however, said the muktak writing has furthered
in the recent days. RSS
