Kathmandu, De 7: A book, depicting
the life story of social worker Ram Kumar Lingden, has been released in the
capital city on Saturday.
CPN-Maoist leader Dharmendra Bastola
released the book amid a function, and said the new constitution should
guarantee the rights of all people, community, women, Dalit, indigenous group
and suppressed community.
On the occasion, social worker
Lingden said time had come for Nepal to rid of the political instability for
economic development.
The former British army, Lingden,
has devoted his life after retirement on social service. His biography is
written by youth cine artist, Dinesh Lingden.
Music Programme
Meanwhile, the UNICEF Kathmandu
organized a child-friendly music programme on the occasion of the completion of
25 years of the ratification of UN Convention on Child Rights.
The progrmme was attended by
students from different schools and youths. The national artists made their
performance at the programme.
The student had also displayed
