Each family of three migrant workers receive Rs 800,000 as relief

Khotang, Dec 27: Each family of three migrant workers from Khotang district, losing lives in different countries in course of overseas employment, has received Rs 800,000 compensation.

The Foreign Employment Promotion Board and insurance company provided the compensation to the family members of Arjun Rai of Banjhe Chyandanda, Ishwor Rai of Nunthala and Harka Raj Rai of Yamkha.

Programme Coordinator of the Safe Migration Project, Diktel, Nabindra Rai said that the relief amount was provided to the victim families with the support of Migrant Nepalese Coordination Committee. RSS
